Refund and cancellation policy
How cancellation and refunds work for a membership payment and for a donation to TOKUMA Foundation.
Refund and cancellation policy
Memberships
You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, and your membership will remain active through the end of the period already paid for.
You may request a full refund of your initial membership payment within 14 calendar days of purchase. After that period, membership fees are generally non-refundable.
A renewal payment may be refunded if the request is received within seven calendar days of the renewal and no member-only benefit has been used since the renewal date.
TOKUMA Foundation will also refund duplicate charges, incorrect charges, confirmed unauthorized transactions, charges resulting from a technical error, and any payment that applicable law requires us to refund. Partial or prorated refunds are otherwise not provided.
Donations
Donations are generally final. TOKUMA Foundation may refund a donation when the payment was duplicated, made for an incorrect amount, submitted without the account holder's authorization, or clearly made in error. Refund requests should be submitted within 30 calendar days of the donation.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. If a charitable acknowledgment or tax receipt was issued, it will be cancelled or corrected to reflect the refund.
How to request a refund
Send the request to the support address shown on your receipt. Include the payer's name, payment date, amount and transaction or receipt number. Do not send complete credit-card or bank-account information.
Publication status
This page shows the document TOKUMA Foundation has published, in full. The records below are still to be completed. They do not change what the published text says.
- The refund and cancellation policy carries no version identifier, so a member's acceptance cannot be recorded against a fixed version.
- No version of the refund and cancellation policy has been recorded as approved.
