About City 360 Cambridge
Our mission
TOKUMA strengthens the environmental, social and economic resilience of communities through education, civic participation, circular systems and the sustainable use of natural and human resources.
How this is held to account.
Six standing commitments. Each one names something the platform will not do, so a reader can check it against what the platform actually does.
- 01
The record
What goes into the shared record, how it is sourced, and when it is corrected. That is the whole of this platform’s authority.
- 02
Outside its authority
Anything about a project, a permit or a public space. Council, the boards, City management and independent agencies keep every power they hold today. Nothing here is issued and nothing is approved.
- 03
Funding
Membership and donations. No advertising, no sale of resident data, and no developer sponsorship of analysis. Any change to that is stated here first.
- 04
Conflicts
Anyone with a financial interest in a project declares it and steps out of decisions about that record. Coalition members are named; paying members are not published unless they ask to be.
- 05
Corrections
A figure that is wrong is corrected in public. Each correction carries a case reference, sits beside the original, and the old value stays visible in the history rather than quietly disappearing.
- 06
Membership
Paying buys no influence over moderation, no priority in the record, and no special access to the analysis. The analysis stays public either way.
City 360 is not a City of Cambridge service, political party or election campaign.

Cambridge, Massachusetts.
How this started
- 01
The problem
Every board, every applicant and every neighbour argued from a different set of facts. The same figures were rebuilt from scratch before each meeting, and no two versions agreed.
- 02
What became clear
The records already existed. They were public, scattered across separate City systems, and nobody had put them in one place with their sources still attached.
- 03
What was built
One shared record: 12,933 parcels, 261 zoning districts and the ordinance behind them. Every figure carries where it came from, and says so when it is not held.
What this is, and what it is not
Facts remain public. Political participation remains clearly attributed.
